Calculator assumptions: Kerala ₹8.80/unit, Tamil Nadu ₹6.80/unit and Karnataka ₹7.50/unit as planning tariffs; state generation factors are simplified annual planning values. On-grid cost is modelled at ₹60,000/kW, hybrid at ₹90,000/kW and off-grid at ₹95,000/kW. Residential subsidy is modelled at ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW plus ₹18,000 for the third kW, capped at ₹78,000. EMI is illustrative and assumes 10% down payment with the balance financed over 10 years at 7% p.a. for eligible residential systems up to 3 kW, otherwise 10.5% p.a. These inputs are editable in the script if B&B wants to use its own pricing.
